Earlier today Matt and I drove up to Grey Cloud Island. Matt remembers being a large Eagle's nest in a tree by the Mississippi backwaters, so we went to see if the eagles were hanging out. We lucked out!
A pair of eagles guarding the nest.
The winds were calm, and there was hoar frost on the shoreline.
Hoar frost on the seed heads of some weeds.
The fresh snow that we received the day before blanketed these rocks nicely.
