Contrasting colors

This was taken yesterday (Sept. 19th) right before the storms passed through.  I loved the contrast between the Hydrangeas and the dark sky!

Trying out a little light painting for the first time.  You can see a slight star trail along with the "painted" tree top.

 

More Yard Work

More accomplished yard work this weekend!

 

We managed to dig up to the side of the garage; now all we have left in this area is along the backside, where we also plan to tear everything out.  A few volunteer trees along the garage and the neighbor's fence line will have to be removed too.  We decided to keep at least one, and trimmed it up.  We plan to put in a dry river bed along the side of the garage with all the rock we keep pulling out.

Another view of what we have pulled out so far; half of this we will turn back to grass.

Our pile of weeds and volunteer tree rubble is growing!
