Prospect Park

On Sunday ( 5/12), Matt and I went to Prospect Park in Minneapolis to check out the Witch's Tower.

The tower is nicknamed "Witch's Hat" because of it distinctive green roof, pointed like a hat.

The water tower was originally built in 1913 to improve water pressure for residents in Prospect Park.

The Tower stands on Minneapolis's highest point, Tower Hill.

The tower opens once a year for people to tour the inside and view Minneapolis from the top.

Could Bob Dylan's song, "All around the Watchtower" be inspired by the Witch's Hat Tower?

Lone Oak

It's May 2nd, and yet another bout of snowfall hit areas of the cities!  Luckily, there was no precipitation in Minneapolis; but work was a different story.  We recieved around 3" of new heavy wet snow, making it difficult once again to work outdoors.  I was able to capture a few photos around the farm.  It was a pretty site!

A snowy and sloppy drive around work!
