New Blog!

I have a new blog currently underway!  Still under construction, but soon to begin posting, is a blog entirely dedicated to the camping experiences I've endured while visiting the State Parks of Minnesota!  I hope to begin posting soon!  Check the link titled "Exploring Minnesota State Parks" on this page! 

Nerves....

I have to laugh at myself in this photo.... this was taken right before a wedding shoot that I had to do Saturday night. I obviously was very nervous... I have the "Deer in the headlights" look on me.  :)

Little green guy

I found this little green frog today sitting on a hydrangea leaf outside of my work office.  He's so cute...and tiny!  No bigger than my thumb...

I like his black markings...

He looks so serious....

Color, or Black & White?

Only taken with my cell phone camera, I couldn't decide which looked better, color or classic.  A big old Oak tree and old barns located on the farm where I work....

STORMS!!!

We've been having some major storms move through the cities today!!!  My cell phone takes panoramic photos.... I was able to capture the clouds moving through at work.  My work truck in the foreground.  :)

Nerstrand Big Woods State Park ( Second Visit )

I went back to Big Woods State Park this past weekend again to do more park exploration.  I wanted to check out more of the hiking trails within the park.  There are 11 miles of hiking trails total in the park.

I found this single wildflower along the trail to the hidden falls.

Along the Beaver Trail, I discovered another unique tree.  I like to find one on every camping trip.  This one had a piece of wood that grew in between the two trunks.  It looks like a small bench!

I found this single wildflower just steps from my tent. 

This time, my sister Laura and her boyfriend Lance, along with Shelby, came to visit me camping.  They joined me late Saturday afternoon.
