A birthday card from my nephew to my sister... "Mom-Happy birthday, have a great day and celebrate like there's no tomorrow, even if you are having a bad day just remember- You're NOT living in a van down by the river."  Ha!  My nephew is genius, and obviously a fan of the old Saturday Night Live shows!

 

Since I was hanging out with my sis Friday night, I thought I'd take a few shots of her pets.  Here's her dog, Shelby.

Hooray!  It's the weekend!  Ha, this was a self portrait of me camping, Memorial Day weekend in 2008. Yes, a happy camper indeed!  Exactly how I feel about the fact that this weekend is here!

Ye ole' Hag

Today is my sister's birthday!  Though younger than me, she's still an old Hag.  Ha, inside joke; I don't really think she's a hag, we just call each other that.  :)  In honor of her birthday, I posted some humorous photos of past memories I've shared with my sis; whom I also consider my greatest and dearest friend.  The greatest best friend a person could ever have!  Happy Birthday Hag!  Ha!

 

 Laura and I back in the early '90's.  We took a camping trip out west to the Black Hills.  Here, we thought we'd try to pass as foreigners.

Here she is!  The old Hag with a bag, back in the 80's!  I think she was trying to imitate a distant relative that my dad would always speak of; Big Bertha I believe.

What?  Laura, pro-golfer?  Hardly!  Ha, I think we enjoyed drinking the beer on the course that day more than we actually enjoyed the game.  :)

So many fond photographs of our Carlos camping trips.  Laura's face here is priceless.  Also along for the joy was myself, my nephew, my "brother" Andy, and the big brown Libby.

 Our last Carlos adventure, and acting goofy as always!  Love ya sis!  So glad to have someone to be goofy with!!  :)

Just for laughs

This post is dedicated to a specific good friend of mine.  Here it is; hardcore proof of my past dorkiness for his amusement.  This is a photo of myself, and my sister in our teenage years in the early '90's.  Yes, like I noted, it is a scary site; check out that big hair!  Ha, and note the glasses.  Those are the big pink ones that I told him the story about yesterday afternoon, that my cousin had to borrow.  So yes, proof to him; I wasn't kidding when I said I was a dork!  Ha!

Capture the Memories!

I. AM. BACK!!  I've been away for a while, and had forgotten about this page!  Amnesia; it's the strangest thing!  Ha!
