Tasty craftiness

One can never go wrong with cupcakes; when it comes to potlucks, they're quick and easy! Who doesn't love cupcakes!?  We had a baby shower for a co-worker yesterday.  I found this idea on Pinterest (gotta love Pinterest!!).  These baby rattle cupcakes were fun and easy to make! I saved this blue one for Matt.  :)

My First 7K!!

I ran my first ever 7K this weekend!  I ran in the Get Lucky Run in Minneapolis on Saturday morning.  It was a marvelous sight; a sea of green dressed runners!  The total participants between the 7K and Half Marathon was 12,000!!!

I made it!!  My speed was slow (11 minute mile), but I never stopped to walk!  After crossing the finish line, 49:00 time.

My friend/co-worker Amanda raced her first 7K as well!  Post race, happy as can be!
